The story unfolds in 1979 USSR.
High School senior Sergey Krasheninnikov (Krosh) unexpectedly meets Vladimir Nikolaevich, a very intriguing individual and a collector of Netsuke. Krosh soon discovers that the gentlemanly friendliness displayed by this person is but a camouflage for quite opposite qualities. Krosh finds himself unwillingly caught in the midst of the treacherous manipulations of a fanatical collector. Following this awareness, Krosh proceeds to investigate and correct this high tension situation…
