Berlin-based luthier extraordinaire Frank Deimel crosses Jazzmaster and non-reverse Firebird with a breeze of ‘60s Japanese styling thrown in to create his own FIRESTAR breed – a beautifuly and artistically crafted instrument designed and built with the limitless possibilities of noise rock in mind (yes, it is Mr. Lee Ranaldo himself proudly holding the one…). As usual – there’s some pics, specs and sounds below.
Although the thing may appear somewhat pricey for the hard-working musician, please read the specs – you definitely get what you pay for (oh, and the four standard ‘60s Cadillac nitro lacquer finishes are simply to die for).
